What you'll do

You’ll effectively manage and control operational systems and lending processes within your area of influence, supporting retail customers. You’ll make sure there’s an appropriate use of credit processes and systems and implementation of credit policy, to effectively support the control of credit risk in a manner capable of responding to the economic environment.

You’ll also:

  • Process all applications within delegated authority level, routed to them and referred for manual underwriting
  • Manage your personal workload effectively to make sure agreed SLAs are met
  • Make sure we’re identifying trends and risk as early as possible so we can take appropriate action
  • Provide management with relevant information and escalate concerns regarding management of credit risks where appropriate

The skills you'll need

You’ll demonstrate flexibility and change orientation, as well as the ability to work with limited supervision.

You’ll also need:

  • A good understanding of risk principles
  • Knowledge of credit risk systems and processes
