About you
To be eligible for our NatWest Markets Front Office Paris internship Programme you’ll need be in your work experience year (“année de césure” for Business Schools and Master 1 for University) and studying towards a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a similar discipline at a business or engineering school. You’ll also need a study agreement with a French university or business school.
Fluent in both French and English
You’ll have a strong desire to develop your financial analysis and modelling skills, with an interest in economic news
You’ll have a good understanding and knowledge of the main accounting standards.
You'll have good communication and analytical skills
About the programme
Over the course of this 6 month internship, we’ll give you a taste of what it’s like to work with us, along with valuable experience to help guide your career choices.
Starting in January 2023, you’ll join us as an Analyst in our NatWest Market’s French office in either the Flow Syndicate team or Rates Sales team covering Frabelux. Whichever team you join, you’ll have the chance to gain exposure to NatWest Markets’ full suite of products, and work for or interact with a range of teams across the bank including Debt Capital Markets, Loan Markets, Corporate and FI Advisory, Syndicate, Sustainable Finance, Rates and FX, and Transaction Services.
This is your chance to gain valuable experience and build your career in financial services. Working with senior leaders early on in your placement, we’ll give you the tools and support you need to make a real impact to the team around you.
Throughout your internship, you’ll cover a range of activities relating to client relationship management.
For the Flow Syndicate you’ll:
Support the Flow Syndicate team in pitching and executing Debt Capital Market transactions and in carrying out day-to-day operations
Conduct financial analysis of fixed income securities and market trends
Prepare daily market updates and deal summaries
Organise roadshows and client meetings
Maintain and develop pricing tools and databases
Ensure all deal-related procedures are complied with
For Rates Sales team covering Frabelux you'll:
Support the Rate Sales team in preparing materials for Clients and responding to daily queries
Pricing products and dealing with legal work and client onboarding
Ensure all procedures are complied with
