Join us as a Business Development Lead, Corporate ESG (12 months)

  • If you’re an experienced project manager looking to make a tangible impact through your work, this could be the role for you
  • Day-to-day, you’ll drive corporate ESG business development activities, liaising with multiple teams to identify, generate and develop opportunities for customers
  • This is a chance for a project manager to become a change leader in the ESG space and to gain actionable intelligence on ESG developments to drive customer offerings
  • This role is available for 12 months

What you’ll do

In this role, you’ll harness your change management experience to roll out new propositions for our corporate customers in commercial banking and structured finance. You’ll also work with other teams to support the development of new ESG corporate products.

We’ll also expect you to work with Propositions teams to provide the roll out and leveraging of relevant propositions to the largest set of corporate clients. You’ll also be working with teams on conducting various pilots, initiatives and drives to align outcomes for the benefit of corporate clients.

You’ll also be responsible for:

  • Making sure the frontline uses central ESG information and data as part of the internal climate plans to find new business opportunities
  • Collaborating with internal and front office ESG teams on broad-based and product-agnostic ESG initiatives, including regional initiatives
  • Working closely with ESG specialist teams in the front office to leverage relevant ESG client knowledge and expertise towards internal projects
  • Identifying, tracking, managing, and mitigating any project risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies while managing internal and third-party implementation plans and delivery risks
  • Removing cross-team obstacles and blockers to enable efficient delivery while proactively managing dependencies to get the best value against constraints

The skills you’ll need

We’re looking for an experienced project manager to join us in this role, with a successful track record of delivering against challenging project milestones and within budget. You’ll also need good organisational skills and an astute attention to detail.

Additionally, you’ll have experience of working within a delivery function that is focused on the delivery of programmes, while working with colleagues on implementing and managing dependencies and programme governances.

You’ll also need:

  • Experience of delivering project management and PMO activities
  • Experience of applications for systems and delivery
  • Knowledge of Agile working environments and strategies
