We're looking for a Release and Environment Manager to join us in Zurich.

What you'll do

In this key role, you’ll be responsible to design, plan and coordinate our environment landscape in order to support development, testing and productive deployment of changes along predefined release cycles including project (change) and business as usual demand. Your focus will be on the entire Wealth CDIO IT platform, including Online Banking, API’s, Front Data Store, Output Management, Data Warehouse, and Middleware in conjunction with the core Banking system Avaloq.

The function is positioned within a newly built team which collaborates closely with technical Release Managers, Application Management, Project Managers, IT Operations, and 3rd parties.

You’ll also be responsible for:

  • Identifying and managing stakeholders, get an understanding of their needs during the stages from development to productive deployments of changes and driving a consolidated plan

  • Being the central point of communication for all aspects of environment management and co-ordination contact between Project Managers, Release Managers and technical environment owners (TSO’s)

  • Acting as a deputy Cutover Manager and supporting Cutover planning and Go-Live deployments

The skills you'll need

To succeed in this role, you should have an IT/Technical background. You’ll need to be a capable communicator and coordinator, solution and service oriented, and taking over ownership.

You’ll also demonstrate:

  • Own initiative, self-starter qualities and persistency

  • Analytical & structured thinking / working

  • Good social grace in contact with Project Managers, Release Managers and 3rd party providers

  • Good team player skills

  • Fluent English skills, both spoken and written, with German being a bonus
