Join us as the Head of our Institutional Banking Coverage team, Luxembourg
- We’re looking for someone to lead our Institutional Banking Coverage team which specialises in funds finance, notice and term deposits, transactional banking including FX and other product cross-selling
- You’ll act as the face of Institutional Banking across and the wider banking industry to create new business and raise RBSI’s corporate profile
- As a leader we’ll look to you to deliver a market leading customer experience, building high levels of advocacy and trust
What you'll do
We’re looking for someone to proactively enhance customer satisfaction and advocacy by providing the products and services that best serve customer needs. You’ll prepare well researched and comprehensive briefs and pitch books for customers and prospect meetings. You’ll also use a range of contact and strategy planning tools to identify and meet customer needs, while all the time making sure you’re delivering high quality customer interactions and experiences.
You’ll also be responsible for:
- Collaborating with customers and colleagues to build trust and long-term sustainable value
- Lead and own the origination strategy through by managing relationships with key industry influencers to generate new business
- Supporting senior management to assess and analyse the financial information of our customers
- Overseeing the deposit and debt solution strategy within your team through execution, credit delivery, and credit stewardship
- Maintaining the credit quality of the portfolio to a high standard in conjunction with senior colleagues
The skills you'll need
For this role, you’ll need highly developed interpersonal, negotiation, and networking skills, preferably gained in a sales environment. You’ll also need experience of working with the major strategic models used by corporate entities to evaluate their operating environment and plan their future development. Knowledge of credit processes and policies would be beneficial.
You’ll be expected to have:
- Proven risk assessment, monitoring, and control skills in a broad range of customer situations
- An appreciation of the macroeconomic and financial outlook with an understanding of corporate sector activity
- Experience of analysing complex financial information and structuring appropriate solutions
