What you'll do
You’ll support our bank to achieve customer advocacy by eliciting and understanding the internal and external technology needs of our customers and analysing, refining, synthesising, translating and ensuring they're documented in a form that can be readily understood by all stakeholders.
Alongside this, you'll be be analysing model documents, participating in model working groups, coordinating with the Quantitative Analysis team and implementing models in IT systems.
You’ll also:
- Support others to articulate the ideas and requirements in the format required by your team, such as use cases, user journeys, user stories and illustrations
- Interact with customers, key stakeholders and your team to obtain and document our functional and non-functional needs
- Create artefacts like detailed business requirements and model prototypes
- Run workshops with the IT Development function to design model interfaces and end-to-end processes by using Agile methodologies
- Write quantitative and functional test scripts, help with our user acceptance testing and facilitate our user acceptance testing with business stakeholders
The skills you'll need
To take on this role, you’ll need at least four years' experience and an academic qualification, like a B.Tech, BE, MBA or CA. As well as this, you'll have knowledge of SQL query writing, AWS and Pyspark.
Additionally, you'll have a detailed understanding of banking book credit risk, the wholesale banking business and the methodology or implementation of credit risk models.
Furthermore, you'll need:
- To be a very capable communicator with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly to your peers and management level colleagues
- Good collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of business analysis tools and techniques
- An understanding of Agile values, principles and methodologies and experience of working within an Agile environment
