What you'll do
As a Release & Environment Analyst, you’ll assist with preparing the release and environment strategy, plans and estimation. You’ll be working closely with the Release & Environment Manager to deliver release related activities, including helping to complete regular audits for release processes and highlighting any risks and conflicts before production releases.
Day-to-day, you’ll also be:
- Supporting a set of non-production environments and maintaining non-production environment dashboards
- Building and deploying into non-production environments, deploying planned and approved changes into production and facilitating code management
- Creating health check and status reports
- Maintaining details of the environments, helping to configure and provide new environments or decommission older environments
- Improving or removing manual steps and enhancing the deployment and management phases of the development lifecycle, focusing on automation
The skills you'll need
We’re looking for someone with technical knowledge and an understanding of platforms, products and domains. You’ll be highly organised and will have the ability to plan effectively to meet deadlines, as well as being able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
You’ll also need:
- Advanced knowledge of one or more service management disciplines
- Knowledge of relevant industry standard toolsets and processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
