This role is based in the United States and as such all normal working days must be carried out in the United States.

Purpose of Role:

Part of the US Capital Markets team responsible for advising corporates across financing and interest rates derivatives.

The position will be based in Stamford, CT

What does this role holder do?

Broad-based capital markets role, incorporating Origination, Interest Rate Derivatives and Syndicate

Work with product partners across liability management, corporate advisory and European Syndicate, with a focus on investment grade rated corporates

Research industries, companies and comparable transactions to inform financing and risk management advice & execution

Support senior bankers in researching and preparing client presentations for pitches

Assist with preparation of internal underwriting documents supporting the approval process

Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders

Support and maintain a robust risk control environment

Undertake periodic business related projects to assist in the analysis and development of the business

What are the skills, knowledge and experience needed to do the role?

  The successful candidate will have experience in debt capital markets origination at an investment bank.

  

 Skills Required

2-3 years previous experience with investment banking

Candidates should be entrepreneurial and be able to take on broad responsibilities within a small and growing platform

Enjoy working in a collaborative and high energy team environment

Strong accounting and financial modelling skills preferred

High proficiency in MS Office suite – Excel and PowerPoint in particular.

Series 79 and Series 63 licenses
