Join us as a DevOps Engineer

  • You’ll be joining a fast growing Digital Delivery team responsible for Online Banking and other digital solutions across web and mobile channels

  • You’ll support our Development and Operations functions to deliver continuous integration across the entire lifecycle

  • This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has successfully practiced continuous integration in a multi team delivery set up

What you'll do

As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll work with technologies and cloud services to automate platform components and software deployments in a fast paced, scalable, secure and consistent manner. You are responsible to establish a CI/CD framework across our new integrated Dev environments and collaborate with developers and engineers to determine and adopt best solutions for automation.

You’ll also be:

  • Running and Maintaining our CI/CD infrastructure and application stack ensuring automation for the building and deployment of our business applications

  • Liaising with the Infrastructure DevOps team to drive strategy for DevOps/CICD pipeline across the entire lifecycle (web and mobile) including optimisation of tools and processes and adoption of best practices

  • Driving the strategy to capture KPI and tracking across the entire pipeline. You’ll measure and continuously improve maturity of continuous integration by defining and monitoring metrics

  • Working closely with the Operations team to enhance monitoring solutions, identify and drive automation opportunities across our application components

  • Work with technologies and cloud services to automate platform components and software deployments in a fast paced, scalable, secure and consistent manner

The skills you'll need

We’re looking for a technically skilled and innovative professional with extensive experience as a DevOps engineer working in a complex and dynamic environment. You’ve worked on major projects based on Kubernetes/Openshift and have deep knowledge of Continuous Integration and Delivery tooling such as Jenkins, continuous deployment, Docker and Terraform.

You’ll also demonstrate:

  • Hands-on experience in applying automation tooling and processes across software lifecycle  

  • Coding knowledge of Java/Groovy

  • Experience with Yaml/Helm based as well as Jenkins pipeline setup

  • Knowledge of source code management guidelines

  • Experience working with microservices and possibly worked on migration from monolith to microservice architecture

  • Experience working with testing teams to set up automation test frameworks

  • Packaging, deployment and test automation experience

  • Experience in Mobile apps & Web technologies
