What you'll do

In this role, you’ll develop and maintain the Open Banking solution. You’ll have the responsibility to maintain a regulatory product, which standardizes the access to banking and payment services. Additionally, you’ll also conduct technical business analysis, solution design and where required Avaloq development work for run-the-bank and change-the-bank engagements. We need you to take wider responsibility around API versioning and integration services in and around our Open Banking platform.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Technical solution design, development and deployment of Open Banking APIs in and around core-banking system Avaloq

  • Engineering of Open Banking Implementation Entity requirements and specifications

  • Support of the entire implementation life cycle, to ensure IT solutions are not only fulfilling regulatory and business requirements but also are technically feasible and sustainable

  • Close collaboration with business, regulatory and technology stakeholders to support fit-for-purpose solution design and product versioning

  • Troubleshooting, impact assessment and resolution of production incidents in close cooperation with the Incident and Recovery management and DevOps teams

The skills you'll need

We’re looking for a motivated, technically skilled and innovative professional with a degree in computer science/engineering. To succeed in this role, you can smoothly familiarize, get the knowhow and take ownership and responsibility of the Open Banking Web Services, which are setup on a multi-tier environment relying on Avaloq business application logic, client identity and digital services. You’ll demonstrate a strong knowhow within Avaloq Core-Banking system, preferably with transactional modules like payments, settlements or similar and Avaloq Front Platform, in area AMI Web Services and RAML customisation. Your basic knowhow in web technologies like Java or API solution around OAUT2 and Restful is of a big benefit for this role.

Additionally, you’ll need:

  • To speak and write fluently in English, with German being an advantage

  • To have a structured, strong analytical and proactive way of working

  • To be able to work independently
