Join us as a Project Manager

  • We're looking for a strong project manager to take on a critical role and independently deliver projects across Supply Chain Services (SCS)
  • You’ll be delivering these projects in partnership with stakeholders to ensure clear objectives, business outcomes and associated benefits

What you'll do

Your role as our Project Manager will see you leading and delivering strategic and regulatory change projects. You’ll deliver them within agreed scope and budget, ensuring key milestones are met and stakeholders are kept updated while managing risk to deliver sustainable business and strategic outcomes.

As well as this, you’ll be:

  • Managing project governance and controls appropriate to the complexities of the project and making sure that all the project deliverables adhere to the agreed governance and risk frameworks
  • Working in partnership with teams across SCS to ensure business readiness and implement change effectively with buy-in from all impacted stakeholders
  • Building, managing and maintaining key relationships with stakeholders across all levels, influencing and leveraging those relationships as necessary
  • Designing and managing the facilitation of workshops, drop-in sessions, working groups and other engaging interventions appropriate to the level of change
  • Coaching and upskilling project stakeholders on Agile ways of working, including Scrum and Kanban
  • Maintaining the SCS risk appetite and making sure the bank complies with regulators including the PRA and EBA

The skills you'll need

To excel in this role, you’ll have a background of delivering strategic and regulatory projects with Agile and Waterfall experience. You’ll be able to deliver these projects concurrently and you’ll also hold a project management qualification such as Prince2, Agile, Scrum.

As well as this, you’ll need:

  • Experience of delivering complex and large scale change projects that span across multiple business areas
  • The ability to deliver and work independently using both Agile and waterfall methodologies
  • A good understanding and application of  project delivery frameworks including Idea to Value and P3M
  • Outstanding stakeholder engagement and management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Experience of tracking the delivery of key project outcomes and metrics including scope, benefits, budget, quality, risks, issues & dependencies
