Join us as Head of Alternatives Depositary Client Services

  • In this stimulating and rewarding role, you’ll manage and lead a Depositary client services business unit, supporting clients across multiple sectors and locations

  • By establishing and maintaining strong and effective relationships with key stakeholders, you’ll influence the future direction of the business

What you'll do

As Head of Alternatives Depositary Client Services, we’ll look to you to establish an operating rhythm to make sure we’re future ready for new business opportunities. You’ll define and analyse accurate key risk indicators and KPIs to manage business unit performance and capability, and make sure operational and conduct risks are anticipated, identified, evaluated, reported, and mitigated.

We’ll also need you to:

  • Advocate a strong risk culture across the business area
  • Support, lead or contribute to cross functional projects and deliverables as needed
  • Define, plan, embed and enhance the end-to-end operating model and product delivery for your client sector

The skills you'll need

You’ll have extensive experience in the depositary and funds industry or investment services. Also, you’ll need a good understanding of the depositary area and where it fits into the funds business, as well as a working knowledge of the alternative funds sector and the relevant regulation involved.

Additionally, you’ll need:

  • Strong analytical skills to resolve complex problems and identify alternatives where established procedures may not exist
  • The ability to define, articulate and focus a team on shared priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to influence a range of stakeholders
  • Experience in leading diverse teams and delivering successful outcomes
