What you'll do
We are looking for a talented DevOps engineer to strengthen the API Management team. In your role as DevOps Engineer, you’ll help our team automate all processes around building, deploying, running and monitoring our micro-service platform. You’ll create trusted pipelines of work from development through to production environments utilising a high degrees of automation.
You’ll also be:
Implementation, maintenance and improvement of pipelines across tools and environments
DevOps activities using OpenShift
Implementation of application monitoring and alerting with Prometheus and AlertManager
Review, introduce and own toolsets for reliable and reproducible deployments
Technical ownership of our API gateway
The skills you'll need
We’re looking for a technically skilled and innovative professional with extensive experience as a DevOps engineer working in a complex and dynamic environment. You’ll bring expert technical skills with CI/CD tools, container technologies and automated QA as well as a degree in computer science/engineering (or equivalent). Additionally, you can demonstrate experience in working with Kafka as well as with Scrum Teams, which is an asset for this role.
You’ll also need:
Knowledge of Java, Spring and web technologies (e.g. Java 8/11/17, REST, Swagger/RAML/OpenAPI, XML, JSON, YAML), web security (e.g. identity management, OAuth 2.0) and Cloud automation (Tekton, Spinnacker / Pulumi / ArgoCD, Ansible / Terraform)
Knowledge of the following technologies: Openshift, Docker, Jenkins, GitLab, Artifactory, Helm, Prometheus, Grafana, Thanos, Jaeger, GrayLog, Elastic Search, Istio / Service Mesh
Working experience with security best practices, including Kubernetes certificate management, infrastructure vulnerability scanning and remediation
Fluent in English written and spoken, German is an asset
