What you'll do
The static data and asset model is at the heart of every automation and digitalisation initiative that we do as a bank. Furthermore, well maintained static data and asset models are key enablers for services in the analytics space that enhance the client experience.
In Application Management we are searching for a senior Avaloq Developer within the Static Data & Application Security team. Our team is responsible for the analysis and delivery of changes for the Avaloq object model, asset market data feed, security framework and for the implementation support of various projects. Additionally, we are in the central position to support various streams when changing and maintaining the object model in Avaloq.
You will be responsible for steering data solutions to business functional requirements, considering the core platform and other data sources more recently deployed to the estate to provide the most efficient use of investment spend over the short and long term.
Your other responsibilities will include:
Business analysis, specification, implementation and coordination of changes in the area of Avaloq static data, asset data and market price feed
Avaloq parameterization and development of software changes
Work actively with new project initiatives and challenge requirements in relation to the Avaloq Static Data model
Mentor less experienced engineering colleagues and be an ambassador for excellent engineering practices
Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple franchises & functions
The skills you'll need
To join us in this role, you’ll need strong know-how in Avaloq parameterisation, report writer, Oracle database and PL/SQL. You should also have vast experience in Avaloq migration framework, API’s and interface definitions as well as to demonstrate experience in object modelling and Avaloq Static Data. Candidates are expected to be Avaloq Certified Professionals with an university degree in computer science/engineering.
