What you'll do
To expand our team we are looking for a dynamic developer that helps us to provide analysis, solution design as well as to enhance and automate processes in the core application Avaloq. Primarily, in the transactional banking areas of Forex, Money Market and Interest Rates Swaps. You will work within an agile multi-project environment and expected to deliver change whilst providing services to ensure our business as usual services operate efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:
Business & Technical end user consulting
Enable close collaboration with Developers, Stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts and 3rd party suppliers
3rd Level Support with incidents, on-call support
Project work using Agile Scrum methodology and working practices
Interface and 3rd party application maintenance
The skills you'll need
We’re looking for an Avaloq Developer with great programming and parametrisation skills. In addition you have a strong background in Avaloq software development and project management lifecycles (agile preferable). You’ll need to have a solid understanding of PL/SQL. A good general Banking and Investments know-how is preferred.
We’ll also look to you to demonstrate:
Structured, self-starter, innovative
University degree (or equivalent) in computer science or engineering
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong English, German beneficial
Working in an international team with native and non-native English speakers
Knowledge in object oriented programming languages beneficial
Treasury experience and knowledge beneficial
Knowledge/experience with Restful APIs, AMI beneficial
