Join us as an Infrastructure Manager

  • We’ll look to you to lead a team to ensure the operational health of the platform and make sure that the platform’s integrity is maintained in line with technical roadmaps
  • You’ll be optimising and achieving targets for the cycle time, risk and cost profiles of the platform
  • You’ll be recognised for your collaboration and stakeholder management skills, as you champion the delivery of business value

What you'll do

We’ll look to you to deliver a robust production management service for relevant infrastructure platforms. In addition, you’ll be maintaining the platform’s operational stability and technical performance.

You’ll also be:

  • Overseeing the platform risk culture, making sure that risks are discussed and understood at every step
  • Contributing to wider improvement initiatives across Technology
  • Actively supporting plans to improve engagement within the unit and function
  • Creating a great workplace environment with a culture of learning and continuous improvement through coaching, mentoring and developing skills

The skills you'll need

We're looking for someone with at least 10 years’ experience of Datacenter (DC) networking, both in a design and operational environment, along with knowledge of DC networks, including products and design. You'll also have knowledge of relevant industry standard practices, procedures, and toolkits to drive up customer service within an IT environment through continuous service improvement.

You’ll need the ability to simplify and communicate complex concepts to colleagues and management, along with good collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

You’ll also need:

  • Operational experience of working within a large scale network environment
  • A solid background working in Agile DevOps environments
  • Technical experience to drive the implementation and change associated with our network project stack
  • Knowledge and experience of development methodologies
