Hints and tips

Hear from some of our current graduates, interns, and apprentices about what they’re learning, and what they’re enjoying most about the programmes.

And I believe, there’s a good culture within this bank allowing people to experiment and try different stuff.

For example, from time to time, all the graduates, they have a keen on technology and see how they could use technology to enhance the work they’re doing.

And we also have challenges to work in different projects and come up with potential new tech solutions that we think is gonna be helping the bank.

And I believe, this great program allows us to have our spaces, to trial and error, but at the end of the day, learning is the most important, key part.

We’re very lucky. I feel like everyone in NatWest, they’re very friendly.

They’re very helpful.

And they see the background that I’m coming from and they’re willing to spend more time with me to make sure I get up to pace and also get all the resources that I needed. So in general, I feel like I’m having a very good time in NatWest, because the people here are friendly.

So I guess one thing that’s really surprised me, since joining NatWest, would be probably the level of exposure that you get to different clients and customers across the bank.

Um, within my teams I’ve been able to, from basically day one, get an insight into a whole range of different customers, even as a graduate, and really get sort of face time, getting on calls, getting on email chains to understand kind of what different customers’ needs are.

And I suppose it’s surprising that as a, on a graduate level, you get that insight, but also sort of the range of different industries, different sectors that NatWest works with, I think is a, a really big surprise.
