We cover a broad range of specialisms, including acquisition financing, specialist asset-backed financing, leveraged buyouts, infrastructure financing and project finance for greenfield renewable energy projects.
Our advisory services work closely in collaboration with all teams across the business area to offer their expertise on credit ratings and sustainable finance.
As a part of our Commercial and Institutional customer led franchise, this part of our bank focusses on bringing digital innovation to a diverse range of customers making it a truly exciting and diverse place to build experience and skills.
What’s great about the programme?
Every area of our business is different – they each need their own skillsets, their own challenges, their own nuances. What better way to find out what working in a business area is like, than from the people who are already working there?
See what Clover, Zoe and Aaron think about their experience in Financing Solutions.
Is the programme for you?
Does the idea of gaining experience across a wide range of customers and business areas to find which areas suit you best excite you? Are you the sort of person who likes to be challenged while contributing to important work? Our Financing Solutions Internship programme could be for you.
This is an opportunity to contribute to credit papers, financial models and pitches, and work on some of the most high-profile debt transactions across Europe. This is your chance to get an insight into product development and digital banking.
The aim of this eight-week Internship is to give you a taste of what it’s like to work here, along with valuable skills and experiences that you’ll bring into your future career.
Where can our programme take you?
For the full eight weeks, we’ll pair you with a ‘buddy’ and a line manager, who’ll support you in gaining valuable experience to help guide your career choices.
During the programme, you’ll also work on a social impact project. This’ll help you to develop keys skills covering team working, planning, creative thinking, business plan writing and problem solving – all while contributing to a valuable cause.
At the end of the placement, we’ll assess you on what you’ve learned. Complete this successfully and you could be offered a place on our 2025 Financing Solutions Internship programme, where you can carry the skills you’ve learnt forward and take the next step in your career.
What can you gain from the programme?
- Build robust financial modelling, credit analysis and risk management skills, and an insight into product development
- The confidence to raise ideas, develop solutions and challenge the status quo
- Experience working across different business areas including our market-leading bond and derivative syndicate and execution franchise
