About the business

At NatWest Markets we focus on what we do best and what matters most to our customers; providing financing, risk management and trading solutions to our customers in Europe, Asia and the US. Putting purpose at our core, we aim to be the partner of choice for our NatWest customers and their financial markets needs.

Meet Sekyi, Alexander, Philip and Lin.

NatWest Markets offers programmes for both Front Office and Quant. Sekyi, Alexander, Philip and Lin talk to you about what each of these programmes has to offer.

About the programme

We pride ourselves on the professional support we offer our graduate trainees, and the friendly community our graduates have shaped.

Our Front Office programme will enable you to learn and gain valuable industry experience, and contribute to our business on day one of your career.

Our Quantitative Analytics team develops quantitative models and analytical tools for derivatives and algorithmic trading, capital and other financial resources management. Our Quants colleagues are responsible for the analytics library and the risk engine for all asset classes.

We’ll reward you with a competitive starting salary, and you’ll also have access to our flexible benefits package.

As a graduate trainee, you’ll have the support of our Analyst and Associate programme, a learning journey that helps you with your first steps in the banking industry.

Over the two year programmes it covers:

  • Technical training across all product areas to round out your skills through online and face to face learning
  • Access to industry leaders who give live talks on a host of wide-ranging topics
  • The opportunity to network with peers and senior leaders, and develop the soft skills needed to be a success in your career

We’ll pair you with a ‘buddy’ who’ll be there to help you get settled, answer any questions, and share their experiences. You’ll also have a mentor who’ll provide support and help you shape your career.
