About the programme

With a choice of Relationship Management or Asset Management, you’ll join on a two-year, or three-year programme and our aim is to equip you with the knowledge, skills and experiences you’ll need to become a successful Private Banker or Wealth Manager. As a graduate trainee, you’ll assist Private Bankers and Wealth Managers to deliver relationship support and advice to high net worth clients.

We’ll reward you with a starting salary of £31,850 a year.

During the programme, you can expect to:

  • Gain an understanding of our products and services
  • Develop relationship management skills and build your professional network
  • Build your understanding of the diverse needs of our high net worth clients
  • Develop the skills you need to identify business development opportunities and digital solutions
  • Build skills that enable you to provide regulated wealth or lending advice

From the moment you begin your first placement, you’ll be working towards a recognised qualification, which you’ll complete depending on your area of specialism. These can include the CISI Investment Advice Diploma (IAD), The Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP), Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), Private Client Investment Advice & Management (PCIAM) or the Chartered Banker Certificate.
